Key Person & Their Role
The Nursery operates a Key Person approach. This means that when your child joins the Nursery they are assigned a specific member of staff. The Key Person will keep confidential records of your child's progress. With your permission they will observe and assess in order to identify the individual needs of your child and plan activities for them, encouraging them to reach their full potential.
Parent's Evenings are held three times a year when you will have the opportunity to speak with your child's Key Person. However if something is more pressing then please do not wait until then - staff are always available to discuss any concerns you may have.
Committee
As a registered charity we are managed by an elected committee of parents and carers who liase closely with the Manager on the day-to-day running of the Nursery. The committee is responsible for reviewing policies, recruiting and appraising staff and fundraising.
We have various fundraising events throughout the year including Christmas Carols with Mince Pies and Raffle, Easter Egg Hunt and our hugely popular Summer BBQ. All funds go towards improving the Nursery and buying new equipment.
